ZZ Plant- Zamioculcas zamiifolia
ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia)
Native to Eastern Africa, Kenya, South Africa
Light☀️: The ZZ plant will do best in bright indirect light, but will survive in medium to low light. Never allow this plant to stand in direct sunlight-the leaves will become scorched.
Water💧:Allow soil to dry out in between waterings. Water your ZZ plant when the soil is 100% dry, but as soon as it gets to this point, proceed to water.
*We recommend Bottom-watering, sometimes called reverse watering, is when you place a plant in a bowl of water, allowing the soil and roots to soak water from the bottom up. (Naturally, your pot needs to have drainage holes for this to work.)
Humidity: Ideal humidity for the ZZ plant is from 40 to 60% humidity. Mist often
Temperature🌡️: Your zz plant enjoys warmth-preferably between 62-80ºF, so maintain indoor temperatures above 60ºF. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Food🌿: Feed once a month during the spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants.
Toxicity🐶🐱: ZZ plants are toxic to humans, cats & dogs. Keep away from pets!
